Interview with Nicolas Sabater, member of the General Management of NAEF Immobilier
Hello Mr. Sabater, could you briefly introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Nicolas Sabater, I am 48 years old, married and father of two children.
I am a member of the General Management of the NAEF Real Estate Group, and as such I am responsible for the NAEF Group’s property management and PPE activities, as well as for customer relations. I am also the Director of the Nyon agency.
What do you like most about real estate?
The meetings, the fact of being able to bring solutions to the problems of our customers and to develop the products of the management of tomorrow.
What is the outlook for the residential real estate market in Western Switzerland?
I would say that the major cities in French-speaking Switzerland have excellent prospects.
Home office will continue to develop in the coming years, which will favor the development of suburban areas.

What impact do you think technology will have on the real estate industry in the next 10 years?
We have already experienced a lot of changes in the last few years, but I would say that the arrival of blockchain will considerably change the land register or even notarial deeds. Innovative startups like Foxstone are bringing new solutions that accelerate these transformations.
What is your opinion on real estate crowdfunding?
I have a very positive view of real estate crowdfunding, which allows people who want to invest in real estate and who do not have the necessary income or equity to access real estate investment. It brings something innovative.
Naef is responsible for the property management of certain buildings acquired by Foxstone investors. What do you think of this collaboration?
Property management is our business. But our collaboration with Foxstone, which offers a turnkey service to condominium owners, has given us a new perspective and has allowed us to complete our skills in order to better serve our clients.
