Did you know about real estate crowdfunding before Foxstone?
I was following another company in German-speaking Switzerland, but I was waiting to find a team presenting real estate in French-speaking Switzerland.
How did you find out about Foxstone?
I discovered Foxstone in April 2019 on RTS’s 19h30.
What were the key criteria for your investment?
For me, the location was decisive: I wanted to invest in a property located in the canton of Vaud, in order to simplify the preparation of my tax return and avoid inter-cantonal taxation.
I was looking for a building with residential and commercial space and a minimum target return of 5% per annum.
What did you learn from your experience with Foxstone?
A little patience is needed. Buying real estate or shares in a condominium can take some time. It is easier and faster to buy and sell shares, but receiving an income every quarter is very attractive.
The quarterly statements are presented in a transparent manner, Foxstone has even provided a detailed guide with the amounts to be reported on the tax return.
I particularly appreciated the procedure for certifying the documents with the notary, as everything could be done by video conference.
