We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our software development team. The successful candidate will have a passion for software development and the ability to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that our software is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage project tasks, ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and status reports
- Track project progress and report on project status to stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, taking corrective action as necessary
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that project goals are aligned with business objectives
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that project outcomes meet their expectations
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, specifically in software development
- A proven track record of delivering software projects on time and to budget
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Extreme Programming methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage stakeholders, including senior executives and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Pivotal Tracker
